Xybernaut Corporation was established in 1990 in the U.S. and opened Tokyo office on October, 1996. Thanks to the rapid progress of micro processors, our first ideas of the development of wearable PCs has been realized one after another. This area is expected to develop more and more in the future, and I am sure that wearable PCs will become small enough to wear unconsciously.

2|High Speed Spatial Optical Communication Network System

Optical fibers buried under ground cost too much money for construction, which is the obstacle of the construction of the high-speed network. With the data transmission technology by laser between a building and another, Sky Fiber offers the network system that is more easily set up and less costs. This system is expected to succeed in overcoming last-one-mile problem.

3|The Environment Adopted Technology and the Approach for Agricultural Business of Maekawa Factory

Maekawa Factory occupies 30% worldwide share of large refrigerators for industrial use. We have various kinds of technologies, such as the technology of using heat, the one that is adapted to the environment, and the high technology of automation for food and agricultural products. Especially in the food and agriculture field, we succeeded in the automation of food process and in the cultivation of high quality bean sprouts in our original environmental control room.

4|Method That Decreases the Running Cost of IT Houses

Newly developed boiler ¡ÈFire Bird¡É has the system that combustibles are burnt by hot steam. Thanks to the improvement of the method of controlling temperature in the fireplace and of supplying air, expensive disposition devices are not necessary because of degenerating industrial wastes through the process of burning, which enables us to use abandoned tires for running boilers with less cost in order to produce energy. This energy is greatly expected to be the source of energy of IT houses.

5|Toward the Creation of New Agricultural Bio Business

The way of agriculture after the war has been changing as the structure of business society and customers¡Ç interest for ¡Èfood¡É changes. Foreign food industry that has recently been expanded pursues the low cost after the Bubble Era. In order to cope with these changes, it is necessary to regulate the structure of agricultural method from the producing crops and to manage efficiently the amount of production with computer networks among farmers and customers.
